Note: This Introduction by Dr Wilson was originally designed for the download version, but applies to the online version s well.
This is a slide show
with audio and animation that describes how you
can have a good time traveling by not worrying about your oxygen. The
slide show describes how to prepare in advance and along the way as you
motor across the United States.
It describes the types
of vehicles you might use and how to pack oxygen
in any one of them for both convenience and safety. It offers options
for using
concentrators, compressed oxygen, and liquid oxygen while driving,
sightseeing, and sleeping. Best of all, it provides you a snapshot of
how four families with oxygen members travel.
This slide show is
unlike any other you have seen on the Internet. This
slide show is not in a tiny window. It takes up the entire
screen. You can clearly see the text, images and photographs move on
and off the screen, as
the narrator tells the story about managing your oxygen while
traveling.
There are very few
things you have to do except sit back and watch and
listen to the show. All you need to know is on this page. Please print
a this page and continue
reading it while the download is taking place.
After you have printed
this page, click here to start the presentation.
Almost immediate you
will see a query box on your screen. Click the
Open (or OK)
button. The information bar at the bottom of
your browser screen tells you that PowerPoint is being downloaded. It
is virus protected so there is no worry
that your computer will be infected.
Allow two minutes for
the download to end. Unfortunately, there are no
prompts indicating now long the downloading will take. Be patient. The
wait is worthwhile.
|
NOTE
Long download times means poor performance once you start the slide
show. Should it take more than 5 minutes, stop it and order a CD (see
"Ordering a CD"
below). |
|
NOTE
If you plan to open this presentation or any other PowerPoint
presentation, you should have the PowerPoint Viewer on your computer.
By so doing, you will significantly reduce the download time. The
PowerPoint Viewer is free from Microsoft (believe it or not). To
download your copy, click
here. |
